For the Arena World Championship, I created a series of videos to introduce the players to the audience. The goal was for the viewer to be more familiar with their back-story. Nobody is interested in watching teams when they don’t know the players. To root for somebody, you need to be emotionally invested. I investigated the players, interviewed them, and used the recording as a narrative for the story, then I used historic footage to piece together a compelling story that fit the narrative.
